I think mayhaps that Batman should exclusively be a member of the Justice League Dark. He doesn't really like working with people but also sometimes John Constantine is like "You know Batsy, If you help me save the world by proxy it saves Gotham" So he does begrudgingly. But only sometimes when they need help with some things because he's like a very good detective and sometimes you need that! But also mostly I just want the rest of the Justice League to not believe that The Batman is real??
There's an issue that they need dealt with and they think it's a demon so they call Constantine and he's like "nah mate, this is just weird ritualistic sacrifices, I got a call to B-man on this one"
And Superman is like "haha The Batman isn't real... Right?" And then they meet him and he is very much real.
And Diana is all like "Oh Clark you silly, obviously The Batman is real" But internally she's like "holy shit The Batman is real???"
Green Arrow still doesn't believe it because he keeps missing any mission that The Batman happens to go on and he's like "If The Batman was real my best friend Brucie Wayne would have told me so. Brucey said that the Batman is just a scare tactic created by the Gotham Police department" So he's pretty sure that the rest of the Justice League is just playing a long practical joke against him specifically

Hot take: It's okay that Bi-Han doesn't like Tomas. He doesn't have to see him as family or like him.
By the addition of “Hot take” I assume this is not something that fandom at large figured out by themselves yet. Can’t say I’m surprised though. Yes, it is okay for Bi-Han to not like or see Tomas as family, as no one can be - nor should be - forced to like anyone just because others (adults) expect it. That alone doesn’t make Bi-Han an evil person, even if Tomas feels rejected in the process, as each person will define what makes one a family differently.
Their brotherhood was forced on both, as none had any say in Grandmaster’s decision to adopt the orphaned and traumatized boy (how they adapted to the situation is another matter and so far, we know more about Smoke’s process of adaptation than Bi-Han’s). We know only small bits of what happened that significant day, but so far sources - the way the informations are phased at least - feel to me like the Grandmaster adopted the boy less for Tomas’ sake and more to smother his own guilt
[...] Having accidentally trespassed onto Lin Kuei lands, they were attacked. Smoke was orphaned. Ashamed by his warriors' actions, the Lin Kuei's Grandmaster adopted Smoke. He raised him alongside his sons, Sub-Zero and Scorpion. [Smoke’s BIO]
and/or to save his honor:
Kitana: "You are Kuai Liang's adopted brother?" Smoke: "His father's honor demanded that he take me in."
So this is not a situation as if Bi-Han urged father to give him another younger brother and dad complied to make his son happy but once he brought the orphaned Tomas, Bi-Han decided nope, I change my mind and from on I will act as a spoiled brat that didn’t get what he wanted. Tomas did not choose to be orphaned nor to be adopted (as he himself admitted he did not think being taken in by Lin Kuei was anything good for him at that time), the same as Bi-Han was not asked by Grandmaster for approval (and even if he was, his objection apparently wasn’t taken into account as Grandmaster still adopted Tomas).
Smoke: "Father wanted us to be brothers." Sub Zero: "Yet another of the old man's foolish dreams."
Note this: father wanted. Not hoped they will eventually find a common ground despite the not the best circumstances. He wanted to save honor. He wanted them to be brothers. Again, not sounding as taking into account what the kids wished for or needed and who knows, maybe Grandmaster wanted it so much, he pushed too hard to get the most comfortable solution for his own conscience - except Bi-Han simply never clicked with Tomas, whatever due to incompatible personalities or factors beyond their good will? I presume they all were still enough young when Tomas was brought into picture, but if Bi-Han is the eldest out of them three, then he could had his own duties that simply didn’t give him enough time to bond with the (culturally and ethically) different kid the way Kuai Liang did, again presumably, as closer in age to Tomas.
But even if Bi-Han simply didn’t like Tomas, then it is still okay, because people can’t be forced to love or like others. Not liking someone though doesn’t give anyone the right to act disrespectful - yet so far, we only heard he was cold to Tomas but that does not necessary mean being intentionally cruel either. A human can be polite and still come off as emotionally cold (and let’s not forget that people can also be naturally introverts or fall into the autism/asocial disorders spectrum that makes it difficult to establish good relationships with strangers. We are familiar with MK1 Bi-Han for what? Maybe twenty minutes of story mode and through intro-dialogues that only gives us a sense of who he is at this point. We don’t even have an idea if cryomancer genes affect his perception of the world or behavior).
Bi-Han as an adult person seems to come to terms with the situation to some extent and got used to the idea of an additional brother - his and Tomas relationship is tense and complicated but it is now tainted by their conscious choices, however in the past, if Bi-Han didn’t like Tomas for whatever understandable or petty reason, no one can demand from a kid to act as an adult and control/smooth their own emotions to solve the problem adults created in the first place. The whole situation wasn’t fair to Tomas and so wasn’t to Bi-Han either.
Would it be sad to learn that Bi-Han has never liked Tomas or never come to love him the way he loved his biological brother? Yes. But not liking someone or not considering someone a family member is not a crime itself and is not an indication of being inherently evil. Be it fictional characters or real human beings, people sometimes simply don't like each other and they have the right to feel that way. Not liking each other though does not mean anyone is allowed to abuse or disrespect others, just to be clear here.
I like to think this should be obvious, but knowing fandom, it may indeed be the hot take.

Ideal naruto blunt rotation?
Honestly...
Kakashi, for I know he'd be more alert and much weirder than me.
Genma, who provides good vibes and also the weed.
Gai, who provides encouragement for those having panic attacks due to the drugs.
Tenten, who would prob be willing to run and fetch refreshments, should she be reimbursed and maybe taught something cool.
Tsunade in a good mood.
Shisui if he isn't being insane.
Anko if she doesn't feel like beating me up.
And, you know what, Orochimaru if he wasn't feeling particularly evil that day.

I actually like the last chapter. I think the ideas are very good. I have my qualms on how some things were managed, as I always do, but I think shonen authors get tangled in the expectations of a shonen to the point it jeopardises their writing, often even when they're not lacking in skills
#I think the nothingness‚ the absence‚ the moving on despite everything‚... is a good if heartbreaking idea#and we do see snippets of it throughout the entire manga‚ yet I think it is mostly lacking in execution#I like the quiet ways in which we see the characters mourn. How Megumi laughs at the letter‚#how Shoko muses about how Satoru should have let her take care of Geto's body‚ the faint smile when Megumi agrees‚#how Shoko quits smoking again‚ Yuuji giving this person hope and a second chance‚ making a reference to him not being executed‚#and giving Sukuna too a chance for him to take one day a different path#All those are very good ideas and all those are very moving quiet ways of grieving. But. It feels in general so lacking#There's so much of everything else in contrast‚ even things that have way less importance narratively than this most of the time‚#that it feels lacking. Especially with how one has to dig to find these things. There's so much that could have been done with the same idea#And done so much better. But the idea is good. The absences are good. The quiet presences are good. The nothingness is good if bitter and sad#But it could have been written better#I also think this ending with Yuuji apparently knowing about Sukuna‚ his lies‚ his little hint of softness‚ the potential second path‚...#makes even more believable why he'd try at all to offer him a second chance. And I love that Yuuji knows him and I love that he still...#leaves the door open for that second chance to occur at some point. Trusting that Sukuna would walk that other path next time#And I love that without openly acknowledging Gojo he demonstrates that he hasn't forgotten him in his acting#How he gives that guy a second chance‚ how he jokes about him not getting executed‚ how he wants to make sure people‚ 'problem children'‚#don't get left behind. He doesn't mimick Gojo in his power but in this flippant but caring aspect and thus he's not forgotten#I do like this. It's heartbreaking. Gojo's desire to be forgotten is bittersweet as it's in a way a desire for... normalcy and humanity#To be surpassed. It goes well with how Gege says Gojo can do anything and thus why he does nothing‚ not even hobbies‚#to leave something for the future generations and not being another wall in their achievements#Gojo's desire to be forgotten is in line with the constancy of his writing when it comes to being drunk on his status#and yet resentful of his loneliness. It's a mix of being left behind and not being left behind#For being left behind and forgotten would mean he is more like the rest. Just another step forwards#And he'd have done what he wanted to achieve. Sorcerers can't stop a long while to grieve but Yuuji takes his words and actions#into consideration and steps forwards. Does the same. Fulfills Gojo's expectations. Walks towards the future. And that's the legacy Gojo#wanted and not going down in history as a legend or the strongest. He was just a teacher. Like Yaga was. He was not even the principal#Just a teacher. His role‚ the role he chose for himself‚ has been fulfilled. Now all this could have done way better#Something of Yuta and Megumi given their dynamics with Gojo would have been good. But I guess Gojo's 'at least one' works well#with Yuuji being the one doing the work. Yuuji was also ontologically alienated since birth and still he too remained cheerful and flippant#despite being so lonely so I guess the final parallel is intentional. But it could have been managed better still. The idea is good though

i'm a little confused why army twt is acting like yoongi smoking is a new thing and "maybe tae gave him tips" LMAO oh sweetie đŸ€Ł did everyone collectively forget the yoongi smoking imagery of hyyh era? do y'all not realize that smoking is big in korean culture and completely normalized, so most of bts probably smokes/has smoked? tae's just the one you've caught, because he's decided he doesn't give a shit about the ridiculous unspoken idol rules and is just gonna live his life. jungkook's vape has been seen on live too. there was an ashtray seen in yoongi's studio way back in the day. so why would your assumption be that he's never done it before or had to be coached to make it look convincing??? like, come on now 😂 some of these comments are actually absurd lmao

I've seen a post on redshit saying deghinsea was racist and I don't understand how people even came to that conclusion. The fandom isn't ready to Tellius remakes
Are you sure it was on redshit and not here anon? lol
If it's about the branded issue, Deghinsea received a very crappy hand to deal with - and we sure as hell don't see what happens or how the Branded are dealt with in Hatari, save for a meaningless "kumbaya" because the Tellius verse completely falls on its head with this question -
Tellius is all about discriminations and how stupid it is - only to, uh, biologically, tell you one race is "superior" to the other because the other "dies" when both races mix to make a baby.
Ergo, if beorcs and laguz "coexist" peacefully and make tons of babies, the laguz will cease to exist - because each time a branded is born (or even just conceived?) the laguz parent ceases to be a laguz.
In a context of racial tensions (Tellius isn't very clear on the details, but there used to be a war where laguz enslaved beorcs, then beorcs enslave laguz?) revealing this to the public meant ultimately yes, Laguz were going to go extinct unless they got rid of beorcs.
In a way, I find it very different from the manakete - dragon stone - problem, because Manaketes still can access to their power through a device, but they are still manaketes. In the Archanea verse at least (but it's suggested even in Elibe?) the dragon parent doesn't lose their power, even if they have a dragon stone, when they hold hands with a human to make a baby, Nah exists, the Nini siblings exist (and iirc it's implied their mom was a dragon when she went "missing"?) etc etc.
But in Tellius?
Lehran wanted to kill himself because he wasn't a "laguz" anymore, he can't sing, he can't hear the voice of the Goddess, he can't transform - he is not a laguz anymore, but he isn't a beorc either.
In an era where people genuinely thought Claude "killed the CEO of racism" and don't even want to think more than 12 seconds about the Nabateans and what revealing the truth about them may create as a result (it's a egg hunt, but this time, humans are hunting chocolate eggs for easter, they hunt living beings to vivisect them to create more shiny weapons or magic milkshakes to gain a longer life and superpowers), Tellius remakes and the kind of themes and discussion brought by this duology are completely inaudible.
(and especially since Tellius's main lead doesn't give a fuck about the world or the consequences of his and the general party's actions as he fucks off to another continent with his besties, letting everyone else piece back and rebuild the continent)
What was Deghinsea supposed to do? Reveal to Laguz that yes, coexistence is impossible because they are bound to disappear if they coexist too much with Beorcs? How would the Laguz react? Lash out against Beorcs and exterminate them to make sure the Laguz, as a race, will continue to exist? And how would the Beorc react? Feel even more superior because whatever happens the "punished" parent for branded unions will forever be the Laguz and not the Beorc, and thus will start to call Laguz "subhumans" even more recently than they do in canon?
What was the solution? His lie sure led branded to be shunned and outright despised - but let's be real, if he revealed the truth, wouldn't branded still be despised by Laguz, who would see them as symbols and reasons why "their race" loses to Beorcs ?
I've seen some fics try to dance around the question by saying, more or less, Laguz are seen as giving their powers to the baby and it's a gesture of affection - but still, why should the Laguz be the only to "pass on" something to the baby when the Beorc can just, you know, get said baby without "losing"/"passing on" anything ?
I really don't know what IS was thinking when they made this "rule" - especially coupled with Yune's insane "teehee it was never intended it just happened like that!" that made Stefan weep, at Deghinshea's lie, of course, but in general, at the entire "Branded issue" ; ffs the Goddess (or one half of the goddess) said Laguz and Beorcs cannot coexists, and it wasn't something that was planned, it just happens.
I honestly consider this message "race A is superior to race B because race B ceases to exist if it breeds too much with race A" as bad as Fodlan's "imperialism good akshually" and honestly don't know why IS went through this route.
To add more drama maybe, but damn if this is a stinky message to have in a series about acceptance and coexistence - especially coming after Elibe and the heavily implied (as of FE7) dragon hybrid hero (of FE6).

You ever have the middle of the story and you want to know what happened? Yeah that's sort of what this is but different. This is Faramir, Damrod, and Anborn meeting Rhadrog and Laeglaw.
Aka the wise one drags the somewhat childish one to meet the shy one and the healer then the feral one shows up because throwing hands must be done with him around or it's just not right. (Anborn is feral, I don't make the rules I just tell it as I see it and let's be real you have to be somewhat feral to survive there.)
-
Damrod gleefully dragged his friend to the tavern he’d discovered a little under a month before while Faramir had been busy with some sort of family dinner. Anborn had waved them off since he still had one last test so he could be positioned with them, and was going to join them later. When they entered there was a group of city guards in one corner, an off duty tower guard at the bar, and a few regulars. Faramir slipped off to find a table while Damrod got their drinks.
At last he sat across from the Steward’s son and slid his tankard across the table. Faramir snatched it up with a wry smile and clanked it against Damrod’s own in a silent mutual agreement that they were glad to finally be done with that dreadful school. Some of the guards caught Faramir’s attention and Damrod internally groaned seeing it. Still he followed his friend’s gaze to see a cluster of them around a boy, well a man but not one much older than he and Faramir were, who looked foriegn to him. Faramir sent him a look, silently asking his opinion on the situation. Damrod studied them for a moment then shrugged, giving Faramir an innocent look. Faramir raised an eyebrow then drained his tankard.
“Far-”
“He needs help, whether he thinks so or not.”
Damrod groaned and stood, exasperated, then followed him over.
“What’s the matter, boy, only able to speak your mother tongue?”
The group laughed at the question, and one of them pulled his fist back to punch the young man. As Damrod expected Faramir caught the guy’s wrist.
“What the-”
“Boy, you should get back to your drink.”
“The young man is a soldier of Gondor as well, is he not?”
“It doesn’t matter! The whelp must be a spy, not even in our southernmost lands are people so dark.”
The group agreed and Faramir slipped between them and stood in front of the young man, who Damrod now noticed was wearing an old and worn version of the city guard uniform. Sickened that these men would turn on one of their own he moved to join Faramir as well. Idly he wondered if maybe they should have left their hooded cloaks back in their room for the night but Faramir insisted on bringing them as he seldom did without good cause. As one of the guards reeled back a fist then sent it flying towards Faramir’s face he lamented following his lead but watching Faramir duck under it, dragging the other man down then moving forward to drive an elbow into the guard’s gut was a thing of beauty. After that he lost track of what Faramir was doing as long as he and his friend didn’t get in each other’s way.
A familiar battle cry followed by three of the group landing in a heap told Damrod that Anborn had finally managed to join them and would be upset he missed the start of the fight. Grinning somewhat ferally Damrod helped finish taking down the few remaining guards then turned to see the young man on the ground, using Faramir’s lap as a pillow. Muffled snickering on his right told him Anborn was next to him and they were going to tease Faramir about this later. A young man with tousled black hair walked in looking furious until he saw all the guards sprawled on the ground, except the Tower Guard who was watching the four of them amused now- Damrod just knew that Faramir’s brother was going to hear about this and they would be teased about it for months- then he walked to Faramir and the young man on the ground.
“Rhadrog
Some day you are going to need to stand up for yourself.”
“He will
 just not yet.”
“Who in the name of the Valar are you?”
“Just a recent graduate from the academy.”
“Well it seems like you just got very unlucky.”
“What makes you say that?”
“Aside from the tears in your clothes? Those were some of the most respected City Guard.”
“I see. So this is Rhadrog, and you are?”
“Laeglaw. We graduated at the same time, but no one wants to take us. They think he influenced me to be evil and is a spy himself.”
Faramir hummed and the Tower Guard walked over then. Crouching down next to Faramir he grinned.
“I take it you want these two with you and those rapscallions?”
“If we can talk Him into it. I’m not sure he’d be happy about us laying out so many of the Guard.”
“Aye
well if he asks I can testify to them deserving it. They shame themselves by refusing such talent.”
“Would you let him know I want to speak with him about it?”
“I will, but since you got in a fight
”
“I know.” Faramir stood and dragged Rhadrog up with him so the man wasn’t on the floor any longer. “Lead the way, and if you have the time and means to, some medical supplies would be nice. Also-”
“A needle and thread?”
“Just so.”
The Guard laughed softly then led the five of them to a cell. Faramir laid Rhadrog on the cot then sat next to it, stripping off his torn tunic then tossing it to Damrod who did a quick check.
“This isn’t too bad. It will be fixed up in a few minutes once I get some thread. I think our new friend ended up the worst off.”
“He wasn’t fighting.” Anborn commented, annoyed.
Faramir nodded but didn’t seem surprised. Anborn gave him a look silently demanding an explanation. Damrod ignored that he was supposed to be older and sprawled, draping himself partly in Faramir’s lap.
“Fara, talk to me.”
Faramir smiled and ruffled his hair lightly. “He’ll be helpful in the future, but doesn’t think he deserves help now.”
“Well we will just have to change that.” Anborn replied promptly.
Faramir’s smile was brilliant and Laeglaw was making small choking noises.
“You- he- then.”
“Yes, I am Faramir, and these are Anborn and Damrod. If you would be kind enough to tend to our injuries as well I am sure Damrod would be willing to mend anything you and Rhadrog are wearing that need mending.”
The Guard appeared then and leaned against the bars. “I have some medical supplies and this,” he held up a small sewing kit which Damrod lunged for, “your brother will collect you lot in the morning. Those two might be being shipped out with you.”
Damrod waved and was already working to thread the needle so he could sew the clothes up. Faramir chuckled and settled in the corner where he could see everyone, Anborn across the cell from him where he could see outside the cell, and Laeglaw gave up on making sense of the situation in favor of patching up his injured friend.
“Do you know where you’re headed?"
“Probably Ithilien."
All work stopped as the three conscious men turned to the unconcerned son of the Steward. It was known that Ithilien was dangerous and only accepted the best, but none of them felt that they quite ranked up well enough for that assignment. Deciding not to worry much about it they focused on their self-assigned tasks. Damrod glanced at Faramir to find him bundled up in his cloak and dozing, Anborn watching outside the cell as well as inside it while their mutually agreed upon leader slept.
A quick sign later and Anborn tossed his torn clothing to Damrod while taking Faramir’s tunic and setting it near him to grab when he got up. Laeglaw managed to get Rhadrog’s damaged clothes off him and set them in a small pile near Damrod who mended them first so the injured man could stay warm. It was late when he finished and as Damrod looked up he noticed that Faramir was sitting where Anborn had been and Anborn was leaning against Laeglaw in the corner.
“Sleep, Damrod. We won’t leave you here.” Faramir murmured lowly, knowing that it was something that Damrod worried about and Damrod got up with a small groan then climbed on the cot next to Rhadrog who looked a bit better. With a small gesture to Faramir he was asleep as well.
The sound of the door opening woke him and he felt Rhadrog tense beside him.
“Really, little one?”
“Are you upset with me for finding another stray I want to keep?”
“Perhaps not but there are better ways.”
“You taught me that people who are being hurt by those they should trust need to be defended.”
Laughter and Damrod knew without looking that Boromir and Faramir were hugging tightly. He smiled and cracked his eyes open a little to see the absolutely shocked expression on Rhadrog’s face as he finally realized who exactly had rescued him.
“Very well, I will put these two with you as well. Just do me the favor of trying to keep them in line. Apparently some of the guards are afraid of that one.” Boromir pointed towards Anborn who grinned at him. Boromir nodded and stepped away so they could get up and leave. “Oh, and little brother?”
“Yes?”
“I am proud of you.”
